St. Peter School in Schaumburg to host reunion, Oktoberfest

To celebrate this fall's 170th anniversary of St. Peter Lutheran Church and School in Schaumburg, an All School Alumni Reunion is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 30.

So far 100 alumni from graduating classes ranging from 1953 to 2006 have confirmed their attendance at the reunion, which will be held at 202 E. Schaumburg Road.

The celebration runs from 4 to 9 p.m. and includes tours, a worship service, recognition of alumni and a chance for all in attendance to catch up with each other and current and former staff.

On Sunday, Oct. 1, St. Peter will welcome the entire community to its annual Oktoberfest from 12:30 to 4 p.m., with German fare, a biergarten, kids games and Trunk'n'Treating.
