Lemons of Love Pink Lemonade 5K Saturday in Mount Prospect

The third annual Lemons of Love Pink Lemonade 5K is 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 1, in Mount Prospect. The event raises funds to build Lemons of Love bags for oncology wards at hospitals for chemotherapy patients.

The event includes an art table for children to create "Happy Pictures" to insert in the Lemons of Love bags. The event is at Lions Park, Lincoln and Maple streets.
