Serve City Volleyball seeking coaches for 2017-18 girls club season

Serve City Athletics is looking for talented, committed volleyball coaches for the 2017-18 club season. Club teams range from 12-and-under to 18-and-under girls and practice out of Serve City's facilities in Wheaton, Downers Grove, Des Plaines, West Dundee and West Chicago.

The girls season begins with practices the week of November 27. The elite and regional team season ends April 21, and the national team season ends in June 2018.

Coaches must be available for two practices per week (two hours each practice), plus eight to 10 tournaments in the Chicago area. Pay varies with experience. Prior coaching experience is suggested but not required, as former high school and college players with no coaching background will be trained by Serve City's staff.

Serve City hires, trains and retains outstanding coaches whose philosophy is grounded in excellence, relationships and love. Serve City coaches are teachers of the game who are also committed to mentoring their athletes and helping them grow as players and as people.

Serve City was founded in 2013 in Chicago to provide children and youth with excellent training from coaches and instructors who care about them as athletes and as individuals. "With that goal in mind, we can excel to the top, as athletes want to join our programs because we attract top-notch coaches who attract amazing young people," says Owner and President Tim Maruyama.

Serve City runs family-friendly club volleyball programs for girls and boys in Wheaton, Downers Grove, West Chicago, Des Plaines and West Dundee. Serve City club teams are among the most affordable in the Chicago area, with regional registration fees at $1,045, elite fees at $1,200 and national team fees at $1,400.
