Aurora 88s roller derby to host home closer Sept. 9

Come join the Aurora 88s Roller Derby at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at the Aurora Skate Center to see Aurora 88s vs Confluence Crush Roller Derby in the home closer of the 2017 season.

It will be the Aurora 88s second time bouting the Crush, and last year it was a 3-pt. game, Crush. It will be great for fans to see the 88s bring everything they got to secure the "W" this time around. Aurora 88s are going in 2-2 for this bout, so we're ready to be #takintolls.

Followed after is the Juniors!!!

We have both Second City Slaughter Jr Roller Derby at HPNC and Chicago Riots mixing it up for a Zombies vs. Unicorns bout. Are you going to cheer for the creepy ghoulish Zombies? Or the mythical magical Unicorns? It shouldn't matter, because this will be an amazing bout watching up and coming derby stars in the making. We are so excited to be hosting this bout.

Come out and support your local roller derby leagues!

Doors open at 5 p.m.

Whistle starts at 5:30 p.m.

Charity of the Month is Mutual Ground

Be prepared to volunteer to participate at Halftime games to win swag, and some neat prizes.

Concession Stand is available at the rink, along with a Bake sale supporting the A88s; vegan options are available.

Tickets at the door are $12, $10 Senior Citizens

Kids under 12 are free.
