Saint James School Continues to Grow!

Arlington Heights, IL. August 23, 2017 - The 2017-2018 school year is off to dynamic start at Saint James School, where the school has seen an increase in enrollment in most grade levels.

Saint James welcomed over 40 new families this year, with new students in nearly every grade, preschool through eighth. The preschool program grew from 2 classrooms to 3 and new preschool teachers bring energy and expertise to the smallest SJS bulldogs. With over 505 registered students in the school and families continuing to inquire about touring and possibly transferring into the school post the first day of school, Saint James School has many blessings to celebrate!

Saint James School, celebrating it's 90th year as a school, continues to be in a unique position of sustained growth and knows it is blessed to have such an outstanding school administration, teaching staff, pastor and associate pastor support, an army of volunteers, and family commitment to Catholic education.

Saint James is an environment of faith, focus and achievement. SJS is faith-based, where a belief in God is part of the everyday environment. SJS teachers and administrators focus on each individual student and help each student focus on things that matter most: their school work, their progress, their futures and their potential to do God's work in the world. In addition, SJS is known for its achievement in academics-test scores across the board are above average, and students go on to succeed in high school and beyond.

Parents are investing in the future by investing in their children. According to Mrs. Pappas, school Principal. "God continues to bless our school with wonderful commitment from our families, administration, teaching staff, and parishioners. I am truly grateful to be a leader in this thriving community."
