Habitat workday set for Saturday in Sugar Grove

A habitat restoration work day will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 26, at Bliss Woods Forest Preserve, on Bliss Road just northeast of Route 47 in Sugar Grove. Seed gathering and distribution will be the focus. Please wear long sleeves and long pants to avoid poison ivy.

Bliss Road is under construction in that area so please check the Kane County Division of Transportation website at www.co.kane.il.us for information on how to get to the Forest Preserve entrance. If it is hot the work day will end early.
