Moncada returns to White Sox lineup; Willy Garcia out 4-6 weeks

The White Sox got a dose of good news / bad news on Thursday.

The good news is that second baseman Yoan Moncada will return to the lineup Thursday night against the Boston Red Sox. Moncada missed the past two games with a bruised thigh after colliding with right fielder Willy Garcia.

The bad news: Garcia will be out 4 to 6 weeks, team officials said, after a CT scan revealed he has a fractured jaw, Garcia will have a plate inserted into his jaw, team officials said.

Third baseman Matt Davidson will miss his second start with a bruised right wrist.
