Rotary Club of Schaumburg A.M. installs 17/18 president
Schaumburg A.M. Rotary passed the presidential gavel forward to incoming 2017/2018 club president Scott Zambo during a late June gathering of club members at Schaumburg's Granite City Food & Brewery.
Bill Kelley, 2016/2017 president of the Rotary Club of Schaumburg-Hoffman Estates, officially installed Zambo and his board of directors at that time.
Zambo joined Schaumburg A.M. Rotary in May 2013, and is employed by Kelley, Kelley & Kelley, a Schaumburg-based law firm serving the Northwest suburbs and Chicago, where he focuses on civil litigation, intellectual property law, business law and formation, and estate planning. He previously served as the club's community service director and was named its 2014/2015 Rotarian of the Year. Zambo is also a member of the Northwest Suburban and Chicago Bar Associations.
Founded in March 1990, Schaumburg A.M. Rotarians are volunteers who work locally and internationally to make a positive difference in the lives of others by addressing the humanitarian challenges of hunger, health and sanitation, education and job training, promoting peace and understanding, protecting the environment and ending polio, all in keeping with the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self."
Membership in a local Rotary club opens the door to community involvement and offers friendship, fellowship and fun in addition to opportunities for personal growth. Schaumburg A.M. Rotary meets regularly on Wednesday morning from 7 - 8:30 am at Schaumburg's Egg Harbor Café located at 1310 American Lane. Visit schaumburgamrotary.org for more information.
