No sympathy for public pensioners

Just read the letter from Linda Kimsey with her defense of the exorbitant pensions enjoyed by our public employees, the gift that keeps on giving at the expense of the rest of us who don't belong to a public union and therefore are not eligible for this largesse.

I wonder, is there anyone else out there who gets tired of hearing about these "poor" public employees who don't get Social Security benefits? How many on Social Security would like to trade places with the public employee pension recipients?

What regular working person gets their full pay when they retire, and how can this be sustainable, paying two high paychecks to do one job?
