Harper jazz concert kicks off college's 50th anniversary

Harper College will hold its popular "Jazz Under the Stars" concert Wednesday, June 21, at the college's Outdoor Pavilion.

The free event, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., features the Ken Spurr Jazz Quintet, and will help kick off Harper's 50th anniversary celebration, which takes place during the 2017-2018 academic year. Refreshments will be provided, and the performance will be moved inside to the Student Center in the event of rain. The college is located at 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine.
