We must balance budget

Why is Illinois so broke? Let's consider the facts. The governor has only been in office for two and a half years. Speaker Madigan has been the driving force for 34 years. Why then, do we blame the governor? If we all have to live within our own budgets, why then do we allow the speaker To spend more than the state brings in? We just cannot survive as a state if we don't start balancing our state budget. We have become the laughingstock of the nation. Please, let's get our heads out of the sand, and send a positive message to Springfield. More people are existing in Illinois than are moving in. That means more money is paid out than is being brought in. I think it's time we kneel and pray.
