Cantigny Park offers full Father's Day weekend

Cantigny Park and Cantigny Golf are planning a Father's Day weekend for families, art lovers and especially dads.

Here's what's ahead from Friday to Sunday, June 16 to 18:

• Family Night featuring the pop sensation Final Say is on Friday, June 16, at Cantigny Park, 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton. The park's first Family Night of the summer features a Cruise Night theme (participating show vehicles receive free entry) and live music by Joe Kalish at 5 p.m. and Final Say at 7 p.m. A variety of food trucks offer tasty options. The Movie in the Park series shows "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" at 8:30 p.m. Star Wars characters from the 501st Legion will be on-site for photo opportunities throughout the evening. All activities are free with $5 parking.

• The Art in Bloom Cantigny Fine Art Festival is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 17 and 18, at Cantigny Park, 1S151 Winfield Road, Wheaton. This event, a Father's Day Weekend tradition, features more than 80 juried artists in a variety of media, displaying and offering their works for sale.

Cantigny favorites Classical Blast and Guitarra Azul provide live music each day. Bring a picnic, enjoy the food trucks or enjoy sit-down dining at Le Jardin restaurant in the Visitors Center. The day includes art activities for kids. Admission is free with $10 parking .

• Father's Day Brunch offers seatings at 10 a.m. and 12:30 and 3 p.m. Sunday, June 18, in the Red Oak Room at Cantigny Golf, 27W270 Mack Road, Wheaton. See the full menu and pricing at CantignyGolf.com. To reserve a table, call (630) 260-8194 or email pduquette@cantigny.org. Parking is free.
