Community picnic at the beach

The Mundelein Park & Recreation District will host a community picnic from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 17 at Diamond Lake Beach, 1016 Diamond Lake Road. There is no charge for admission or parking. Beach-related activities include paddle boats and kayaks, a Zumba class and the floating Wibit SportsPark. The Wonder Lake Water Ski Show Team performs at 6 p.m., featuring tricks, freestyle jumps, fast-paced barefoot skiing and pyramid formations. Free parking is available.
