Water Street Studios new exhibit features watercolors
Water Street Studios' main Dempsey Family Gallery will be hosting its first group watercolor show, displaying the work of 12 artists.
"The Watercolor Show" will feature a broad range of work from well-established local and regional artists that demonstrates the full spectrum of watercolor painting techniques and subject matter.
During the opening night reception, you'll get to meet each of the 12 artists while also enjoying live music, free food by Gaetano's Batavia, a cash bar featuring beer from Solemn Oath Brewery and wine from Bright Angel wines. Live music provided by Ryan Drendel.
"The Watercolor Show" will open from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 9. The exhibit will continue until July 8.
Susan Ray Romano will be displaying some of her photos in a show titled, "Channeling Vivian" at the Kane County Chronicle gallery, located on the second floor at Water Street Studios. The opening reception will be held 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 9.
The show will be on view during regular gallery hours: 1 to 9 p.m. Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 160 S. Water St. in Batavia.
