Trump not given the respect of his office

The press seems to be having a "field day" when it comes to our president and, while he deserves some of the criticism, I understand his disrespect for the media.

He has never gotten the respect for the office shown Barack Obama or would have been shown to Hillary Clinton. I didn't vote for Obama since I didn't feel he was experienced enough (1st election) and didn't think he had done such a good job (2nd election) but he was our president and as such I gave him the respect of the office he held. Somehow the liberals (which they are not) are downright nasty and can't seem to handle that their party lost the election.

I personally would have preferred John Kasich (who I voted for in the primary) or Marco Rubio but as we've found out in the past, nice people don't win.

Mitt Romney in my opinion would have been a good president but he wouldn't fight dirty when mud was slung at him and we all know where that got him.

If all our politicians worked as hard at doing a really good job of running our country and didn't make a priority of getting re-elected (a good reason for term limits) we would remain the best country in the world. But right now, we are imploding and hopefully that will change before it's too late to get back on track.

Greed and corruption are too prevalent in today's politics and that needs to change. Wake up, America. Keep America the best country in the world.
