Barrington antique fire truck show postponed

Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District has postponed an antique fire truck show that was scheduled for Saturday, May 20. Officials said Friday the decision to postpone the show was made after determining thunderstorms predicted by weather forecasts for Saturday may damage the vehicles on display. Plans call for the show at firehouse No. 1 to be rescheduled this fall, to coincide with National Fire Prevention Week and local community festivals.
