CarpFest this weekend on Diamond Lake in Mundelein

The Mundelein Park and Recreation District is hosting the second CarpFest, on Saturday, May 20 and Sunday, May 21, at Diamond Lake.

Fish all day either day at Diamond Lake Beach, 1016 Diamond Lake Road; North Shore/Bob Lewandowski Park on South Prairie Street, Mundelein; or, on the lake from a boat for those with access.

Prizes for biggest carp, most carp and smallest carp will be awarded. Fish will be counted and weighed each day at 5 p.m. across from the boat launch at the Gale Street Inn parking lot, 935 N Diamond Lake Road, Mundelein. Register when you turn in your fish.
