Elements at Water Street offers scenic options

An interview with Cheryl Cady, director of sales at Elements at Water Street.

Q: Tell us about Elements at Water Street.

A: Elements is a unique private events venue located in the heart of downtown Naperville's river front. Connected to the new Hotel Indigo Elements services all the corporate meeting and company outings. Elements is also a premier new wedding destination hosting higher end wedding receptions and social galas.

Q: Explain the history.

A: Five years in concept and planning stages plus 2 more years of construction, Elements at Water Street has been a long awaited project to complete.

Q: Tell us about the renovation in the area.

A: Elements events venue is the second largest piece besides hotel Indigo to The newly constructed Water Street district of Naperville, Water Street district, which has the premier downtown water front location and occupies an entire square block and a half with 158 hotel rooms, 9,000 square feet of private event space, three new restaurants, specialty retail and opening soon the 64 wine bar.

Q: What does the venue have to offer when it comes to corporate meetings?

A: Elements all river front pre function space and duel meeting rooms can accommodate large group sizes of between 12 and 120 people, also offering state of the art AV services and custom menu packages. Full and private bar services are available, plus meeting room spaces that open into our 2nd. Floor open air balcony. Our main ballroom can seat 300 classroom style or be set to accommodate 250.

Q: Describe the atmosphere.

A: Elements spent much time and money achieving the rare combination of an organic industrial build out. The main ballroom features a custom wood ribbon ceiling design with curved custom service bar, rustic columns and contemporary swirl carpet. All doors in the Elements space have been hand made from a local custom mill shop and feature solid Walnut, polished black iron and 10 foot contemporary sliding barn doors.

Q: Tell us a little about the owner.

A: David Miller is the founder of the full service catering company Chef By Request, now celebrating 22 years in the Chicago land area. His next life time goal was to create this amazing new event space in his hometown of Naperville. David is old school hospitality in all that he does.
