Preschool Fun Fair celebrates early childhood

One, two, buckle those shoes and get ready for Schaumburg Park District's Preschool Fun Fair.

The fair is set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., May 12, at the Pat Shephard Center, 421 N. Springinsguth Road. Activities include carnival games, pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, train rides and a moon-bounce inflatable.

Picnic food and treats will be available for purchase.

"It's a great day for young children and parents to connect and have fun," said Teresa Varco, early childhood supervisor. "There will be plenty of games and prizes."

The fair will be held rain or shine. In the event of rain, festivities will take place inside the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road.

Cost is $11 per child or $14 the day of the event.
