Park Ridge Attorney Appointed to Board of ATG Trust Company

Patrick Owens, a partner at Di Monte & Lizak, LLC, in Park Ridge, Ill., was appointed to the board of directors of ATG Trust Company, a subsidiary of Attorneys' Title Guaranty Fund, Inc.

Owens serves on three ATG Trust committees: trust, trust audit, and trust and investment. He is a member of the Illinois State and American Bar Associations, as well as the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, where he was co-chair of the probate practice committee from 2006-2012.

“Patrick brings broad experience and a diverse background in representing individuals and corporations in estate and tax planning, trust and estate administration probate and real estate. His knowledge and expertise will be an immense asset in guiding our future,” says ATG President and CEO Peter Birnbaum.

Owens is a frequent speaker on various trust, estate and tax matters through ATG Legal Education, the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the Illinois State and Northwest Suburban Bar Associations.

He has a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, a J.D. from DePaul University in Chicago, and an LL.M. in taxation with honors from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
