Mighty Windsor Radio Players to Perform April 28

Come relive the Golden Age of radio during a performance by the Mighty Windsor Radio Players on Friday, April 28, 2017, at 7:00 pm at Windsor Park, a faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement community located at 124 Windsor Park Dr. in Carol Stream.

The sidesplitting adaptation of the classic American radio show Fibber McGee & Molly Radio Show (1935-1959) displays the talent of Windsor Park's resident performers and captures the nostalgia and high-energy hilarity of the original program. Filled with music, comedy skits and laughter, the Mighty Windsor Radio Players bring their unique perspective to a bygone era.

The Mighty Windsor Radio Players production troupe is one of several groups organized by the resident-run Performing Arts Task Force for the Windsor Park Center for Lifelong Learning (WPCLL). WPCLL is a resident-run committee that initiates and plans upcoming educational events and other opportunities for residents. Past programs have covered topics related to politics, religion, social justice, music and fine arts, and health and wellness.

Space is limited and reservations are required for this free performance by calling (630) 510-5201 or emailing HLMeyers@covenantretirement.org.
