Boys volleyball: Lake Zurich sweeps Lakes

Lake Zurich's boys volleyball team swept Lakes, 25-18, 25-19 on Monday.

For Lakes, Evan Schneider and Matt Haufe had 5 kills while Jake Keenan had 3 kills.

Haufe added 2 digs while Keenan also had 3 digs and 11 assists.

Wheeling d. Mundelein: Despite 12 kills from Linden Ewing, Mundelein was defeated by Wheeling, 18-25, 25-18, 17-25.

Ben Arebalo and Ewing each had 6 digs for the Mustangs while setter Steven Miritello had 19 assists.

Marc Rey added 3 blocks.
