Lisle election mailer was disheartening

I find it very disheartening to have received, in the mail, an election piece which is a nasty personal attack on Mayor Joe Broda.

I think debate of issues is a healthy thing, but I value the community spirit of Lisle, and to have it undermined by that type of negative electioneering is depressing.

I also find it ironic, when the issue of transparency has been significantly used as an election issue, that this mailing has no indication of who paid for or sent it.
