Where's my reprieve?

Homeowners in Mount Prospect pay 75 percent of their taxes to support three schools within this city. I am 68 years old and never had children in this district. At what point in time do I get a reprieve? When I hear about the CPS complaining they need money, I wonder where did all the money go they collected from homeowners in Chicago?

Not to mention the lottery money that supposedly also contributed to the schools. Since they have proved they can't budget the money allocated to them, why should Gov. Rauner come to the rescue? Every city in Illinois is responsible for using the property income to support their respective schools, Chicago better put on their "big boy pants" and take a course in Accounting 101 and apply the funds where they belong.
