Thoughtful, balanced

In 2005 I wrote a letter to the Daily Herald in support of James Schultz, as a candidate for trustee of the village board of Vernon Hills, and I am once again proud to endorse Mr. Schultz in 2017. I first met Mr. Schultz when a group of citizens petitioned the Traffic Advisory Committee to hold a public forum, to see if there was anything they could do to provide some relief to the citizens living on Warrington Road. While ultimately little could be done, Mr. Schultz was very cordial and listened intently to our positions. Since he has been on the village board, he has continued with that same behavior. He is always willing to explore all the options, and he continuously shows everyone the respect that every citizen deserves while trying to express their concerns.

Mr. Schultz, is and has remained a thoughtful, balanced and unbiased individual. He should be re-elected to the village board where he consistently continues to bring an attitude of trying to bring the very best outcomes across the board, for ALL of the residents of Vernon Hills.
