Mt. Prospect Community Band presents Centennial Spring

Join the Mt. Prospect Community Band on Sunday, April 2 at 3:30 pm at Trinity United Methodist Church for a musical celebration entitled "Centennial Spring." Led by music director, Monty Adams, the concert also features soloist, Amy Keipert.

The concert features a number of pieces with ties to the 1917 era including "Eileen" by Victor Herbert, the "US Field Artillery March" by Sousa, a "Dixieland Medley" and songs from World War 1. The second half of the concert is devoted to the spring season and love, with pieces including "Prelude Sinfonico" by Puccini, "Allerseelen" by Strauss and "Spring" by Johan de Meij.

Trinity United Methodist Church is located at 605 West Golf Road in Mount Prospect. The Community Band is a program of the Mt. Prospect Park District and tickets are available for $7 in advance at the RecPlex located at 420 West Dempster. $9 tickets are available at the door.
