Spying White House and AG lying to Congress?
The Daily Herald missed the boat by running a Washington Post story entitled "How Hard Is It To Get An Intelligence Wiretap?" which suggests that spying at Trump Tower is ridiculous and difficult to effect. The real questions, considering whether or not Trump Tower was wiretapped, should be: "Do you remember how the Obama administration spied on several members of the press, most infamously White House Senior Correspondent James Rosen? How they found a judge who allowed them to do so, to read Mr. Rosen's email without his knowledge (which Google handed over to the DOJ), and most amazingly to also spy on Mr. Rosen's parents?"
No, the Teflon prom king, Mr. Obama, never had his feet held to the fire. Nor was former Attorney General Eric Holder held accountable for his actions.
And while we are at it, I agree that an attorney general who lies to Congress should be held accountable. Of course, the attorney general that I speak of would be Eric Holder, who directly lied to Congress (source: National Drug Intelligence Center) about allowing more than 2,000 firearms to be handed to Mexican drug trafficking cartels in Operation Fast and Furious. He admitted lying about spying on the aforementioned Mr. Rosen and other members of the press.
Is the Obama White House capable and willing to spy on Americans? Yes, they have. Have we let Attorney General Eric Holder blatantly disrespect and disregard the law with no consequences? Yes. Where are these newspaper stories? It shouldn't take a letter to the editor to point this out.
