Sente to discuss environment

State Rep. Carol Sente invites local residents to participate in a discussion on environmental initiatives and legislation during her Environmental Citizens' Advisory Committee meeting from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, March 13, at the Vernon Hills Park District's Laschen Center, 294 Evergreen Drive, Vernon Hills. Jen Walling, executive director of the Illinois Environment Council, will provide an update on environmental legislation. This event is open to all area residents who are interested in discussing issues concerning the environment.
