Lakemoor is a very diverse community with many different social and economic issues. I would make sure that all areas of Lakemoor have a voice. In the past several years I have seen great improvements and will work to keep Lakemoor moving in the right direction.What is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales and property taxes? Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.Taxes are a necessary evil. Fortunately there is an opportunity to help the tax payers of Lakemoor with the development of route 12 and 120. I would like to see more commercial development to help offset the taxes and not put the burden on home owners.Rate the efficiency of your town's police and fire coverage. Are the departments well prepared for the next decade? What, if anything, should be changed? Do you have specific public safety concerns?I think the police and fire coverage is great. They do an excellent job and have a great response time. With the new village hall being built I see them being well prepared for years to come and able to accommodate the growth.Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?I have not had an opportunity to view the budget. I will look forward to working the village board to balance the budget. I believe in fiscal responsibility.What is one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?I think that Lakemoor needs to utilize its natural resources. I would like to see the lake cleaned and used more by the residents.What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?I would like to see more economic growth. The development of route 12 and 120 is well needed and will attract more citizens to Lakemoor.Please name one current leader who most inspires you.Senator Pamela AlthoffWhat is the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?I was always taught to respect others and you will get respect in return.If life gave you one do-over, what would you spend it on?I would have been more involved in the community earlier in my life.What was your favorite subject in school and how did it help you in later life?My favorite subject was math. Working in construction I use math everyday.If you could give your children only one piece of advice, what would it be?Don't lie, if you do something wrong admit it and face the consequences.
