I've tried to lead the same as in my current position of ward 3 alderman. I initiated putting a referendum for a park on the November 8, 2016 ballot so the citizens would have a voice in whether they agreed with it or not. They overwhelmingly voted in favor for a park by 64%. I think it is important for government to listen to its citizens. Unfortunately, the current Mayor is ignoring what the majority of the citizens voted in favor of in the November, 2016 referendum and instead he is pushing his own agenda of dense housing.What is one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?Citizens have voiced there opinion to me regarding their desire to have a leaf collection service.
