Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.Property Taxes are about 75% schools 10% county,5% mis. the village only has control of 10%,of the total. I would love to be able to lower the sale taxes.Rate the efficiency of your town's police and fire coverage. Are the departments well prepared for the next decade? What, if anything, should be changed? Do you have specific public safety concerns?I believe the police and fire Dept. are doing a good job, but we have out grown the downtown station and will have to do something about that.Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?even though I have worked on 20 years of Village budgets I have been out of office for 2 years and do not feel that I have enough current information to make cuts.What is one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?I think we enhance Fire Dept.
