Super Seniors is a convenient and voluntary program for driver's license renewal, which includes Rules of the Road classroom instruction, and a vision screening exam. The Rules of the Road Course also includes a review of safe driving techniques, and Illinois driving laws.

A Secretary of State Mobile Driver Services Unit will be available for participants to renew their driver's licenses, register and renew vehicles and license plates, change of address, organ donor status, and several other services that you might need. A non-expiring state identification card can be obtained for $20; however, if you are 65 and older you may obtain a free, non-expiring state of Illinois photo ID card. Drivers age 75 and older are required to take a driving test to renew their driver's licenses; therefore must visit a driver services facility. Walk-ins are welcome and encouraged to take advantage of this program.

In addition Grafton Township is sponsoring A.A.R.P. Smart Driver Class, a comprehensive driver's course, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 19-20. The class is designed for drivers 50 or older. You must attend both days to earn your certificate. The classes are held at the American Community Bank, 10101 Route 47 in Huntley. Preregistration is required for this event.
