Hanover Highlands celebrates student-led Respect Week

Hanover Highlands School celebrated Respect Week Feb. 27 through March 3 with a variety of activities planned by the students who attended the Youth Activation Summit this past fall.

Students created Superhero Commitments on paper capes, designed posters that correlated with their Superhero Commitments, wrote poems about respect and gave Respect-o-Grams to a teacher or to another student. The week wrapped up with assemblies celebrating respect.

In addition, on several days during lunch, students could take photos with one another in a photobooth using props donated for the week by The Seville.
