Smithereens to Perform at Prairie Center April 1

The Prairie Center for the Arts welcomes the Smithereens on Saturday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m.

Part British Invasion and part garage band, the Smithereens carved out their own niche and following with critic and fan pleasing songs including "Blood and Roses," "Only a Memory," and "House We Used to Live In." Thirty years later, the band's guitars continue to buzz and jangle, mixing new material with old, delivering live sets that are tight and "refreshingly organic - rock and roll in its truest stripped down form."
