Four candidates to back in District 200
I am writing to support four candidates for the Wheaton Warrenville Unit District 200 school board.
Early voting starts at the DuPage County Complex March 10; outlying areas start March 20; and election day is April 4. After evaluating the candidates backgrounds and resumes, I am asking all of the voters in District 200 to vote for these candidates.
Brad Paulsen - 1st ballot position: Incumbent school board vice president; deep background in the design and construction industry for schools across Chicagoland; his wife Pamela was the past president of the district's student excellence foundation.
Rob Hanlon - 2nd ballot position: SVP and CIO of Tree House Foods, comes from a family of education, major volunteer work in music programs for students.
Jim Mathieson - 3rd ballot position: Incumbent school board member who has run his own CPA Firm, longtime volunteers in community, former president of Downtown Wheaton Association.
Ginna Ericksen - 8th ballot position: Stay-at-home mom, deep volunteer involvement within District 200 and across our community, Master's degree in counseling with a school counseling specialty.
Voting for our board of education is perhaps one of the most important offices that any voter can choose. Our schools impact our community in so many ways. It is imperative that we elect these four individuals because they will make sure to represent the needs of all of our students.
