District 95 candidate forums scheduled March 8 and March 14

Two forums will take place next month for voters in Lake Zurich Unit District 95 to hear school board candidates address the issues.

Six candidates are seeking four open seats on the board in the April 4 election. Incumbents Kathy Brown, Scott McConnell, Eileen Maloney and Lisa Warren will be on the ballot, along with newcomers Andrea Trudeau and Vasili Rusis.

District 95's Parent Teacher Organization branches will host the first forum from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at Middle School North, 95 Hubbard Lane in Hawthorn Woods. The second candidate session is set from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, at Middle School South, 435 W. Cuba Road in Lake Zurich.
