Gallery Theater presents 'Tuesdays with Morrie'

Gallery Theater of West Chicago will present "Tuesdays with Morrie," a play based on a true story by Mitch Albom about a dying man who meets every Tuesday with a young man he taught in college

Morrie understands that life's complexities can be broken down into simple truths. He handles this stage of his life with a combination of bravery, compassion and just a little crankiness.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays, Feb. 17 to 26, at 203 Turner Court, West Chicago.

Directed by Gail Cannata and Assistant Director Gary Murphy, the play features cast members Howard Raik of Oak Park and Justin Schaller of Hoffman Estates.

Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for seniors. For reservations, email GalleryTickets@aol.com, call (630) 234-5919 or visit gallerytheaterstudio.org.
