U-46's McKee advances to sectional

Senior Ashley McKee of the U-46 co-op team qualified in two events and the all-around Monday night out of the DeKalb girls gymnastics regional.

McKee finished third in the balance beam competition with a score of 9.3 and third on the floor exercise with a 9.175. Her all-around score of 36.075 was also good for third place.

The U-46 team finished in third place with a score of 131.8. DeKalb won the meet with a 149.2 and Oak Park-River Forest was second with 134.825.

McKee will compete Feb. 8 at the Glenbard North sectional.
