Missing Chicago man spotted in Crystal Lake

Crystal Lake police are seeking the public's help in finding a Chicago man suffering from memory loss who was last seen early Thursday morning behind a Wal-Mart in Crystal Lake.

Lawrence "Larry" Johnson, 69, of Chicago has been reported by his family as a missing endangered person.

Johnson is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs approximately 115 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing one-piece blue coveralls with a zipper in the front and a Wal-Mart embroidered patch on the chest. Johnson was without a jacket or hat when he was last seen.

Crystal Lake police said store video surveillance recorded Johnson on foot at 2:40 a.m. Jan. 26 at the rear of the Wal-Mart at 1205 S. Route 31 in Crystal Lake.

Johnson is without access to a motor vehicle.
