One trapped in Des Plaines rollover crash

A woman was trapped in a vehicle after a rollover crash in Des Plaines early Monday morning, authorities said.

Des Plaines first responders were at a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Mount Prospect and Golf roads. The crash was reported about 5:19 a.m., police said.

The woman, who was the only occupant in the vehicle, was transported to the hospital, police said.

More information about the cause of crash was not immediately available, but authorities believe slick roads caused by winter weather could be a factor.
