Meeting set on Aspen Drive Library expansion

The Cook Memorial Public Library District board's finance and employee practices committee will meet Thursday to discuss funding options for a proposed expansion of the Aspen Drive Library in Vernon Hills. The meeting is set for 4 p.m. at the Cook Park Library, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave. The Aspen Drive Library opened in 2010. Its parking lot was expanded in 2015 to meet demand.
