Public health not a partisan issue

I'm disappointed by the new McHenry County Board's decision to remove Dr. Paula Yensen, Lake in the Hills, from the position of Chair of the Public Health & Community Services Committee.

While not a member of the majority political party, Dr. Yensen has a proven record of fiscal discipline and is uniquely well qualified to serve our community in this capacity. Public health should not be treated as a partisan political issue.
