Deadline nears for Lazarus House gala 'Unmasking the Face of Homelessness'
Lazarus House is now accepting reservations for the second annual gala "Unmasking the Face of Homelessness" on Saturday, Jan. 21, at the St. Charles Country Club, 1250 Country Club Road in St. Charles.
Enjoy social hour filled with silent auction items, mystery wine, and live music by the Da Capo Duo, with Ben Westfall and Kristen Paxinos.
After dinner and sweets, partake in a fun game to win a $100 Visa card, experience a heartwarming presentation and then a chance to bid on many live auction items.
Some live auction items include a stay at a condo in Puerto Vallarta, a framed autographed LeBron James jersey, a Napa Valley Experience, Disney Hopper Passes, furnace installation, dining experiences and more.
The social hour will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and the guest speaker and live auction at 8 p.m.
Reservations are $100 per person with a cash bar and can be made by calling (630) 587-2144. Reservations are due by Friday, Jan. 13.
Over the past 19 years, Lazarus House has helped our neighbors in crisis by providing safe shelter, food, education and skills for life.
Lazarus house offers an emergency shelter, a Center for Transitional Living and an Outreach Program for men, women and children from Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, and western rural Kane County. Join in to raise funds to continue the mission in the community.
