Election really not a mandate for Trump

Hillary Clinton now has more than two million more votes than Donald Trump. He is the president-elect only because this country has neglected to abolish its obsolete and anti-democratic Electoral College.

This system was created more than 200 years ago to protect the interests of slave holders in more rural and less-populated states.

This election's voters and this nation overall have not given Trump a mandate to pursue his ill-advised agenda.
