Schaumburg library hosts book discussion groups

Several book discussion groups of the Schaumburg Township District Library will meet in January.

The Young(ish) Adult Book Club will discuss "A Monster Calls" by Patrick Ness from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at Wally's Coffee House, 55 W. Schaumburg Road.

Who Filmed This Book participants will talk about "The 100 Foot Journey" by Richard C. Morais from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 11 and 25, at the Hanover Park Branch Library, 1266 Irving Park Road.

For those who enjoy nonfiction, the Second Floor Reads group will discuss "Hidden Figures: the American Dream and the Untold Story of the Black Women Mathematicians who Helped Win the Space Race" by Margot Lee Shetterly.
