Knee injury sidelines Chicago Bears linebacker Trevathan for season
Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan suffered a ruptured patella tendon in his right knee Sunday and will miss the rest of the NFL season and be placed on injured reserve.
Trevathan, the team's second-leading tackler this season, hobbled to the sideline in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against Tennessee. Trevathan, who missed two games early in the season with a fractured thumb and came back to play with a cast, had 5 tackles Sunday.
