Wauconda to hold 6th annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving

The 6th annual Wauconda Turkey Trot will be held at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 24. The event features a 4-mile chip-timed race around Bangs Lake and a 2-mile fun run/walk. Participants will receive a T-shirt and there will be live music, awards for the 4-mile winners, snacks and a fun-filled family event. All proceeds benefit the Wauconda/Island Lake Food Pantry.
