Rotary helps needy with 'Operation Warm'

More than 200 new coats and about 100 gently worn coats were distributed to needy families by the Mount Prospect/Prospect Heights Rotary Monday, Nov. 21.

The eighth annual "Rotary Operation Warm" event took place at the Mount Prospect Village Hall in conjunction with the village's annual Turkey Food Distribution program.

Families from the surrounding neighborhood were invited to select as many coats, hats and gloves as needed, as well as pick up food for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
