Great Pumpkin Roll held in Lake in the Hills
The second annual Great Pumpkin Roll was held Saturday at Butch Hagele Beach in Lake in the Hills.
People had the chance to compete to be the area's Champion Pumpkin Roller. They got to roll a pumpkin down the steep hill and watch how far it went and whether it got smashed.
The event was sponsored by Algonquin Trader Joe's and Dave's Pumpkin Farm in conjunction with the Parks & Recreation Department.
