Missing special needs child in Fox Lake found

Fox Lake Police said a missing 14-year-old boy with special needs who went missing from his home Tuesday night has been located.

David Schlaf appeared at school this morning after disappearing from his home at approximately 6 p.m. without his phone, authorities said in a news release.

Police are still investigating where he was overnight, authorities said.
